I am Pat Miller, an experienced school librarian and educator (37 years) and author of 19 professional books and more than 150 articles for librarians. I've presented 65 workshops at the local, district, and state level, as well as for TLA and for AASL. Because I retired in June, I am available throughout the school year.

Currently, I'm presenting "Launching the Library". This six-hour workshop gets librarians fired-up and organized in the areas of management, programming, and lesson planning. Participants have fun, gain useful knowledge, and leave equipped to start the school year with zest and confidence. The workshop can include a copy of my Stretchy Lesson Plans: August-September, available at a generous discount from Upstart.
